This past weekend was PAX East at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. What has become an annual tradition for me and a bunch of my friends, we hopped a bus to Boston from New York to check out this year’s showcased games. Here were some of the highlights from the Saturday I went.
There are two conventions I always look forward to attending once a year—New York Comic Con and PAX East. Spring is always PAX East season, and I closed out the month of March with a weekend trip to Boston to go to the convention for the fourth time. My impression of this year’s PAX is…well…a bit disappointing.
Two weekends ago another PAX East was held in the great city of Boston. I was fortunate enough to attend the always busy and exciting video game convention that happens once a year for a third time. Saturday was the only day I was able to go to PAX, but even one day there is enough to experience almost everything the convention has to offer.
This past weekend was another PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts. Although I only had a one day attendance at the convention, I’m still recovering from a fun but exhausting weekend in Boston. Until I can fully get my bearings to write up a full report on what I did and saw at the convention, enjoy some of the photos I snapped at the Expo Hall.
On March 11, 2017, for the second time in my natural born life, I attended PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts. Like the last time I attended PAX East, I was only able to attend a Saturday. While it may have been a quick and short attendance for one of the biggest video game conventions held in the Northeast, I did enough to fill an entire day at the convention without ever feeling bored.
This year I had the pleasure of being able to attend PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts. It was my second time going to this convention, but I only attended Saturday. After having a full weekend away from home, I’m recovering a bit from the excitement of my single day attendance. A full write up will be coming next Monday to give myself time to collect my thoughts and recall everything I saw, did, and what my main highlights of the convention were. Spoiler Alert: Mass Effect! In the meantime, please enjoy some of the photos I have taken from Saturday to tide you over for the time being.
There comes a time in every convention goer’s life where you’ll want to expand your attendance beyond the local ones in your area. I’ve been a regular at New York Comic Con for the last few years now, and as much fun and convenient as it is to go to this geek/nerd oasis every year, I’m always looking for new experiences and places to explore. Two weekends ago, I finally expanded my convention going experience by going to PAX East in Boston for the first time ever.
