How people define fashion and their own style choices will vary greatly from person to person. Some will make a conscious and deliberate effort to put together an outfit that feels as if it was tailor made for them, and others will reach for the nearest T-shirt and jeans that serves the purpose of looking decent enough to walk down the street to buy a carton of milk and eggs. No matter what your style preference may be, we all know which clothes we like and don’t like. Shopping for items that’s supposed to have one basic function, such as keeping you cool during hot summer months, can sometimes be tricky and a nuisance. Buying a good enough pair of shorts has been my biggest challenge year after year.
Summer was once considered a dead zone for TV watching. Once all the network shows have wrapped up their seasons, you’re left with largely nothing to watch. Thanks to streaming services, like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime there are plenty of content to keep us entertained through those dog days of summer. The season is gearing up to be a good TV viewing time, and there are a number of shows I’m looking forward to watching.
The blogging community is full of wonderful, creative, and supportive people. Ever since I started my blog back in 2011, I didn’t know what to expect. I made the brave decision to put myself out there. The rest, as the saying goes, is history. I have continually come to this corner of the Internet time and again, and I still wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world. Being a blogger and a part of the community has been a constant source of joy and inspiration. When one of my fellow bloggers decided to recognize/nominate me for a blog award, I’m always surprised and deeply grateful for the consideration. The Sunshine Blogger Award is the most recent honor I have received.
