As remnants of the summer season fades into the background to usher in the entrance of fall, September draws to a rapid close as October is nearly here. The cooler days and the slow down going on in my life right now has made this the prime time to see if I’d succeed at this month’s video game challenge. Before I officially say goodbye to the month of September, it’s time for you all to find out how well I did.
I love anime. It may not seem like it, as I rarely write too many posts about anime these days, but I really do. Not having enough time to watch as many shows as I used to may seem like an excuse, but it’s not. There’s always much more out there that demands my time and attention, or it’s usually a mood thing. Do I feel like watching an anime series or a TV show? Do I want to game or read? What I feel like doing during my downtime changes from day to day or week to week.
One of the best things about living in New York City is we have four seasons. We New Yorkers get to experience a change in temperature and the beauty (or misery) each season brings. When autumn comes around again, one of the things I’m most excited about, other than apple or pumpkin flavored things, is breaking out a good pair of boots. And in my case, I may love boots a little too much.
The month of September conjures up thoughts of back to school for kids, autumn turning leaves a lovely shade of red, orange, or gold, and all things pumpkin flavored making a comeback at your local coffee houses. What the new month means for me is another video game challenge to tackle.
