For those of us who live in the USA, we have been enjoying a three day weekend because of Memorial Day. While this weekend is considered the kick off to the summer season and a chance to hit the beaches and to have barbeques, it’s obviously a day to remember those who have fought and died for our country.

Mondays are my usual days for updates on this blog, but just for this week I will be on a mini-hiatus. As much as I wanted to have something ready for today, my weekend has been a bit busy. I spent part of my weekend fighting off a minor cold, and I managed to nip that in the bud before it got worse. Then, I also attended a special event for my best friend’s daughter. Overall, it became impossible to sit down and concentrate on one post for this week. Sometimes it’s just good to take a little break from writing to relax and recharge.

Don’t fret though. If you missed it over the weekend, my very first post over at United We Game is now up. It’s more of an introductory post about my relationship to games and why I have seen myself as the intermediate gamer. Give it a read if you haven’t already.
