There is no question that RPGs are an immersive gaming experience and are particularly great for exploring the detailed worlds created by the game developers who carefully crafted them in the first place. The best kind of RPGs are the ones where you have a ton of exploration and you have a choice between diving straight into the main story or doing the side quests scattered throughout the game.
I had a more video game centric post in mind when it came time to writing my usual weekly update. Instead, something a little personal and introspective kept tugging at the deep corners of my brain to be written. I try not to write too much about myself and I try to focus on the geekier or fashion-minded side of things, but I suppose I can tie those usual themes I write about into this post too.
Valentine’s Day is coming up this week, and while I personally could care less about this red and pink hearts day for lovers, I am doing a fun post in honor of it. As I currently read Volume 2 of Codename Sailor V, the very first chapter had a Valentine’s Day centric story in the volume.
It was quite some time ago since I have finished reading the entire Hunger Games trilogy. Overall, I have enjoyed the book series immensely. It was one of those books I could not put down. Any time I wasn’t reading it, I became eager to read the next part as soon as I wasn’t at work or doing something else. The series also left me thinking about a lot of things, including how it ended. I will be reviewing the book series as a whole with as little spoilers as possible, and maybe follow it up with future analysis posts on characters and themes.
